Meet the Cats!

This is where you can meet the terrible trio and find out more about them.

Buddy

Born on 16th February 2002, Buddy is the brother of Jacks, not that you would be able to tell by looking at them, they are totally different in appearance and ways. Buddy was first in a litter of four and he is definitely the explorer of the family (he was first to realise how to climb onto the conservatory roof!) always curious about what I'm doing, a very confident cat, nothing seems to deter him. He's very vocal and will often wake me up with his 'meowing' his cries often sound just like 'mum' sometimes! He is a lovely tan and white tabby, very handsome with beautiful markings, he's a lovely nature although he doesn't like anyone else playing with his favourites toys!

Jacks

Jacks is Buddy's brother born shortly after him on 16th February 2002, he is such a charmer and I'm sure he would be a real ladies man given the chance, and had I not had him castrated! Jacks is very confident and outgoing like Buddy, into everything around the house, he's a very affectionate cat always looking for a cuddle. Jacks is very handsome, striking black mostly with white chin, belly and paws. During spring he was regularly bringing us home frogs, fortunately rarely harming them, just causing me and my mum, Cherry must distress and hysteria of how to pick up frogs and get them back outside. Jacks likes to wake me up each morning by patting my mouth with his paw! I don't know how he picked up this trick but it obviously never fails, I also get tapped on the head or nose if he can't get to my mouth!

Archie

Archie we don't think had a great start to life, I went into a local pet shop to get some food for Buddy and Jacks and they were selling kittens (can you believe it!). Archie was absolutely tiny, looked very afraid and in need of rescuing. I had to take him home, it turned out that he had half of his whiskers gone on one side (reason unknown)and had a bad infection which he passed on to Buddy and Jacks so they all had antibiotics for a week or so. I took him to the vets to get checked over as I was taking Buddy and Jacks for their first injection at 9 weeks and my vet estimated Archie was only 6 weeks old then, how long he had been in the pet shop I don't know, estimated DOB 09th March 2002. At first Archie was very timid and wouldn't approach me, however over time we have established a strong bond, I don't think he'll ever be a confident cat but he struts around our house sometimes like he owns the place. Although he still won't come in the house if we have someone over he doesn't know!
