Meet
the rest of the Chapman Clan! This is the rest of the Chapman clan, because as well as Buddy, Jacks and Archie who are all recent additions we have two other cats and two dogs also so look below to meet them too!
Thomas
is a very handsome black and white male moggie roughly 14 years old and was
the first addition to the Chapman household, he's quite lively for an old boy,
as he will soon join in playtime with Buddy, Jacks and Archie. He loves to sit
in the garden just watching the world go by and then as it gets dark he's ready
to come in for the evening. He's quite timid around people he doesn't know but
with us he's the lovely cat we all know and love. We recently found a lump on
his ear and the tips of both ears had to be removed as it was suspected cancer,
but after a slow start he has made a full recovery, more on this at the news
page!
Tammy
is a very pretty little thing indeed! She is a white tabby female, 8 years old
and is very loving. When we first got the new kittens we thought it would be
great for her as she could mother them, never having any kittens of her own.
Unfortunately Tammy had other ideas and didn't like having to share the house
with three boisterous kittens. She has never taken to them and her and Jacks
have spitting match's! Although it seems that sometimes she forgets the act
and they live side by side quite happily well it can't be easy keeping that
up all day. Since the kittens arrived it has really brought out the kitten in
her also though and she can often be found running around the lounge, darting
behind the sofa, of course if Buddy, Jacks or Archie tries to join in she hisses
at them, but hey that's a woman's prerogative!
Sophie-Jane
is a crossbreed mongrel, she definitely has collie in her as you can see. She
was born 02nd November 1991 and is nearly 12 years old, she was the first dog
we had and she has been such a lovely gem. Loving long walks, playing hide and
seek with me, running around in the garden. She has learnt many tricks like
sit, beg, play dead, roll over, Sophie's very obedient and will collect the
paper and post for a biscuit! Unfortunately she got really ill last April and
at one point we thought we was going to lose her, after many tests, it was discovered
that her digestive system does not work properly anymore so she is on steroid
tablets at the moment, which we know is only a short term solution so I make
the most of her every day.

Monty
is a Yorkshire terrier born three weeks earlier than Sophie, aged nearly 12
years too. He was originally a family members pet but when their marriage broke
down we was asked if we could look after him, he was about a year old at the
time and we have never looked back. He is so affectionate, constantly wanting
to be petted, which can make your arm ache after awhile I tell you! He absolutely
adores my boys, especially Buddy and they play together which is just priceless
to see! Unfortunately too he is on medication, for his heart. Poor mum, if you
see her morning and night administering all these pills you would thinks she's
a qualified nurse and if you listen carefully Monty rattles when he walks! However
he is doing OK at the moment and living life to its fullest.
